Early morning ferry to Little Andaman (research vessel). Post-lunch, begin coastal ecosystem survey – mangrove mapping, beach profiling, and marine debris documentation. Interaction with local forest range officer. Overnight at research camp near Hut Bay.
Trek to the pristine limestone caves of Little Andaman. Document geological formations and bat species. Afternoon visit tribal buffer zone (as per permissions) – study traditional ecological knowledge with authorized liaison. Evening data compilation & photography session.
Full day biodiversity documentation – herpetofauna, bird surveys, and butterfly transects. Evening special night transect to observe nocturnal fauna (with forest department escort). Campfire discussion on conservation challenges.
Chartered research vessel to Interview Island (restricted area). Conduct wildlife census – focus on endemic Andaman wild pigs, monitor estuarine crocodile habitats. Participate in camera trap data collection. Overnight at forest rest house (basic research accommodation).
Interactive session with Assistant Conservator of Forests – learn about island management plans, invasive species control, and tribal rehabilitation policies. Afternoon free for independent research / sample collection. Evening return to Port Blair.
Full day at Port Blair research centre – data cleaning, species identification with expert, and preliminary report writing. Evening certificate distribution ceremony from Seazen Research Wing. Farewell dinner with team.
After breakfast, final submission of biodiversity checklist / research summary to coordinating agency. Transfer to Port Blair airport. Expedition concludes with lifelong scientific memories.
